Just wondering. . . are your extended family members respectful of your vegetarianism or do they want you (and your husband and children)to try the dishes that they brought to the potluck gathering? Eggplant parmesan sounds really good to me!! Can you post the recipe? Thanks!

"Fruit" and "vegetable" are imprecise terms and depend upon context, as your example definitions suggest. The first is botanical, the second, culinary.

But in answer to your question, I like the plum - as sensual as it is impractical.

Yeah, I like nectarines and apricots, as well. Occasionally I like a pear, too. Thanks for posting.

Baby spinach is my fav, it doesn't have the strong flavor that tends to turn some people away from leafy greens.

An added bonus, it's high in iron!

I can't recommend a specific brand because you may have different brands where you live. In general, you need to look for eggs that are "free range" or "cage free." Vegetarian fed hens are a good choice as well. If you go to a farmer's market to get eggs, just ask questions before you buy. As far as veggie sausage goes, the best I have tried is Gimme Lean. It is usually found in the produce section and is in a tube, much like real sausage. You cut it into slices and fry it. Thanks for posting a question!

Do you recommend a particular type of egg that is vegetarian friendly? I use Eggland's Best. Also, is there a breakfast meat (type or brand) that tastes like the real thing? I have tried vegetarian sausage before that was horrible! Thanks!
